Scriptura is an offline Bible study tool that provides access to public domain Bible translations along with intelligent study insights. The app is designed to help users read, study, and engage with Scripture through features such as bookmarking, highlighting, note-taking, and intelligent search.
Scriptura is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial Bible study. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application on your personal device for the purpose of Bible study and spiritual growth.
Scriptura includes the King James Version (KJV) and the World English Bible (WEB). Both translations are in the public domain and may be freely read, copied, and shared. No proprietary translations are included in the application.
Scriptura includes intelligent features that generate study insights, cross-references, and contextual information. This generated content is provided for educational and devotional study purposes only. Generated insights are not a substitute for pastoral guidance, formal theological education, or the counsel of qualified spiritual leaders. Users should exercise discernment and consult trusted sources when making theological conclusions based on any study material, including generated content.
All content you create within Scriptura — including bookmarks, highlights, and study notes — belongs entirely to you. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you retain full ownership and control. Scriptura does not access, copy, or claim any rights over your user-generated content.
Scriptura is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. The accuracy of generated content is not guaranteed.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of Scriptura shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the application. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any damages resulting from reliance on generated content.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be included in future app updates. Your continued use of Scriptura after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The effective date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision.
